Our Story

Orange Byte IT was founded in 2021 out of a passion for technology and a desire to do things differently. After years of working in professional IT environments—and experiencing firsthand the frustrations of impersonal, overpriced tech services—I decided it was time to offer something better.

What began with mobile device repairs has now evolved into a full-service IT business offering everything from custom PC builds and laptop diagnostics to smart home setups and remote tech support. Based in Orange, NSW, I primarily serve the local region (within about 100km), but I also proudly support clients as far as the Northern Territory and Victoria through remote services.

Before starting Orange Byte IT, I worked in a B2B IT company across a wide range of roles—from helpdesk support and hardware diagnostics to server configurations and DNS management. Since then, I’ve continued to grow professionally, moving into cybersecurity, mentoring team members, and even taking on leadership roles within a major organization—all while running Orange Byte IT on the side.

Today, the business is still small and personal. I handle the technical work myself, and my wife helps manage the accounts and administration. This means when you contact Orange Byte IT, you speak to me, not a call center or a rotating roster of technicians. I believe in working with my clients, not just for them—building trust, understanding their unique needs, and delivering results they can rely on.
